“Fully Qualified - Fully Insured”

TC Contracting Limited are a leading provider of TREE SERVICES, FENCING and LANDSCAPING in Worcestershire, Cotswolds and the surrounding area.

TC Contracting Limited is owned and ran by Toby Cheung.

We are a small business with just two permanent members of staff which means we offer a personal approach, focused around reliability, whilst priding ourselves on being a fully NPTC qualified team. Toby & Ryan have a wealth of knowledge, regularly undertaking training courses and competing in Climbing competitions.

We are fully insured by Trust Insurance Services / Convex insurance. We hold public Liability Insurance of £10 Million and well as Employers Liability Insurance.

(without relevant NPTC qualifications all insurance would be invalid - please make sure you ask to see proof of training when instructing a arborist)

Our facebook page (TC Contracting Ltd) and Instagram page (tc_contracting_limited) are regularly updated with pictures of our work. Please take a look.

SERVICES

TREES/ARBORICULTURE

  • Tree reduction -Tree reduction, or crown reduction is used in arboriculture to reduce the crown of the tree while maintaining its shape. This reduces tree size, allows more light through and limits root growth protecting driveways, foundations, footings, drainage & pathways.

  • Tree removal/felling -Removal is sometimes necessary because a dead tree will slowly lose strength. As the tree weakens, it loses its ability to withstand the assault of storms or extra weight. Snow, ice, storms, and winds can break off branches or bring down a dead tree.

  • Stump grinding - Grinding allows the property owner to use the area where the tree once stood for laying a lawn or planting a flower bed.

  • Pruning -There are many reasons why trees might need pruning. These reasons could include improving the structure of the tree, to remove dangerous or defective branches; the reduction of shading, the reduction of wind loading or to provide clearance between the tree and a structure – to name just a few. Care must be taken however, as removing too big a branch can lead to disease entering the tree via the wound/s left behind, or reduce the vitality of tree due to the excessive volume of leaf bearing material being removed.

  • TPO - Trees under a Tree Protection Orders within the local council - we can guide you through applying to the council.

  • Tree Inspections - We are able to provide an inspection and advise on tree health and formulate a plan.

  • We specialise in large trees in small areas that require dismantling or aerial rigging techniques.

  • Hedge cutting / trimming / reduction.

  • Shrub removal.

All work is carried out to the British Standard for tree work (BS 3998: 2010 Tree Work – Recommendations)
All wood chip is donated to local allotments and local growers if you do not wish to keep it on site for your own needs.
We carry a waste carriers license and dispose of all waste responsibly and correctly.

LANDSCAPING

From a complete landscape to a raised flower bed, laying patios, re-turfing/levelling lawns we can also deal with drainage issues within the garden and grounds.

FENCING

  • Domestic fencing - panels, posts, gravel boards, feather edge and lots more.

  • Equestrian/Livestock - Post and rail, stock netting, hanging gates, even building arenas and draining land.

Why us?

Did you know, we actually like trees - often we go to quotes where people have been advised to have a tree removed. This isn’t always necessary, sometimes it takes more work and skill to save a tree - removing one is the easy part. Unless there is visible signs the tree is dead, diseased or dangerous, we will always recommend maintenance on a tree rather than removing it. Simply put, if we can save it, ensure its future , and your safety…. we will.
